- SinyaChat is a mobile app for AI character creation, roleplay storytelling, and AI chat.
- In the current version, core app data is stored locally on your device.
- When you use AI features, relevant prompt data is sent to the third-party AI provider used by the App.
- SinyaChat does not require account registration in the current version.
- We do not sell personal information.
2. Information We Process
2.1 Information you enter in the App
Depending on how you use SinyaChat, the App may process:
- Profile information you choose to keep in the App, such as display name and selected profile avatar.
- Character creation inputs, such as character name, tagline, categories, role, personality traits, background, speaking style, relationship style, behavior preferences, visibility setting, and appearance hints.
- Messages, reply choices, and other text you enter during AI chat or roleplay sessions.
2.2 Information generated in the App
The App may generate and store:
- AI-generated character avatar images.
- AI-generated character previews, greetings, opening lines, story openings, and sample replies.
- AI-generated roleplay scenes, story continuations, summaries, and chat replies.
- Moderation results used when you choose a public visibility setting for a character inside the App.
- Local app state such as favorites, blocked characters, recent conversations, draft progress, and story points.
2.3 Photos and camera access
- SinyaChat lets you optionally choose a profile avatar from your photo library or camera.
- If you do so, the selected image is accessed through your device OS permission flow and copied into the App's local storage on your device.
- SinyaChat's current character-avatar generation flow uses text prompts, not photos you upload.
2.4 Information we do not intentionally request
In the current version, SinyaChat does not intentionally request:
- Contacts
- Precise location
- Microphone audio
- Health data
- Payment card information
Please do not enter sensitive personal data in prompts or chat content.
3. How We Use Information
We use information processed by SinyaChat to:
- Create and manage AI characters and local profile data.
- Generate character avatars, previews, roleplay content, and AI chat replies.
- Save your drafts, sessions, favorites, blocked characters, and other in-app state locally on your device.
- Apply automated moderation when you mark a created character as public inside the App.
- Maintain app functionality, reliability, and compliance with applicable law.
4. Where Data Is Stored
- SinyaChat stores core app data locally on your device using local database and app file storage.
- This includes profile data, selected profile avatar copies, generated character images, creation drafts, chat transcripts, roleplay progress, favorites, blocked lists, and recent conversation metadata.
- In the current version, SinyaChat does not provide its own account-based cloud sync or backend storage for this data.
5. Third-Party AI Processing
- SinyaChat uses SiliconFlow and related model endpoints for AI text and image generation.
- When you use AI features, the data sent to the provider may include character creation inputs, prompt text, recent conversation context, roleplay context, and moderation-related content needed to return a result.
- If you choose a public visibility setting for a created character, the draft and generated preview may be sent to the AI provider for automated moderation before the character is marked public inside the App.
- AI-generated image results may be downloaded from provider-returned URLs and stored locally on your device.
- Third-party providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We recommend that you do not include highly sensitive personal information in prompts, character backgrounds, or chat messages.
6. Public vs. Private Characters
- SinyaChat lets you mark created characters as private or public within the App experience.
- In the current version, this setting is stored locally on your device.
- Marking a character as public does not mean SinyaChat uploads that character to our own cloud servers in the current version.
- However, related draft and preview content may still be sent to the AI provider for automated moderation as described above.
7. Permissions
- Internet access is used to call the third-party AI provider when you use AI generation or AI chat features.
- Camera or photo library access is only used if you choose to set a profile avatar from those sources.
- If you do not use those avatar features, SinyaChat does not need camera or photo access.
8. Data Sharing and Selling
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not provide personal information to data brokers.
- The current version of SinyaChat does not include third-party advertising SDKs.
- The current version of SinyaChat does not include third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- We may disclose information only if required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
9. Data Retention and Your Controls
- Data stored locally on your device remains there until you delete it in the App, replace it, clear the App's local data, or uninstall the App.
- You can change your display name, change your profile avatar, delete local content by removing the App, and manage local favorites or blocked characters in the App.
- If you uninstall the App, locally stored data may be removed from your device, subject to your device OS backup behavior.
- Data processed by third-party AI providers may be retained according to those providers' own policies.
10. International Data Transfers
If you use AI features, your prompt data and related generation context may be processed by third-party infrastructure located in multiple countries. By using those AI features, you understand that relevant data may be processed outside your country or region.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and post the revised version with the App or its distribution page.
